Both these stores are now closed because the owner could not pay the rent. He has moved out of Winter Park and continues to run from sub-contractors that he stole money from.

Apparently he will be able to run for awhile....I saw with my own eyes that he has 2 million in an account. He left his personal account of 2 million untouched while I watched him beg his partner patty for money every month for him to live on..His partner Patty was a sweet and trusting woman I feel horrible what he did to her. Im curious if she knew about his HUGE psycologist bill from a man on turkey lake road that specialises in multiple personalities..this doc will be suing him as well!

From the March 6, 2009 edition of the Orlando Business Journal:
"Local custom homebuilder faces frenzy of foreclosures"
A Central Florida custom homebuilder has found himself the target of six foreclosure suits totaling more than $15.3 million.
All of the lawsuits filed against Mitchell Menaker, president of Menaker Investment I Inc. in Orlando and co-owner of Giles Menaker LLC in Winter Garden, are due to loan defaults on property, according to court records.
Menaker declined to comment on the suits, but said via e-mail that his companies have “fallen victim to the same economic downturn that has affected so many of us.”
The suits include:
• A $4.19 million foreclosure filed by Birmingham, Ala.-based Regions Bank on a 7,907-square-foot home at 5109 Latrobe Drive in Windermere, valued at $1.27 million, according to the Orange County Property Appraiser.
• A uncompleted $3.27 million, 8,682-square-foot home off 9046 Mayfair Pointe Drive in Orlando being foreclosed by Regions Bank, valued at $2.12 million.
• A $3.2 million foreclosure filed by Orlando-based First Commercial Bank of Florida on a 2-year-old, 6,515-square-foot home at 6174 Louise Cove Drive in Windermere, valued at $2.17 million.
• A $2.58 million foreclosure on an 8,128-square-foot property filed by Atlanta-based SunTrust Bank located at 11118 Coniston Way in Windermere, valued at $1.95 million.
• Regions Bank’s $1.63 million foreclosure filing of a 5,428-square-foot uncompleted home in Lake Nona with an estimated new cost of $1.03 million.
• A $558,834 foreclosure filed by Cincinnati-based Fifth Third Bank on an undeveloped lot off of 9264 Sloan St. in Orlando valued at $630,000.
Winderweedle, Haines, Ward & Woodman PA partner Jeffrey Deery, who represents Regions Bank; Roetzel & Andress partner W. Glenn Jensen, who represents Fifth Third Bank; and Akerman Senterfitt shareholder Ed Foster, who represents SunTrust Bank, declined to comment on the cases.
Five of the six cases are still pending judgment. The SunTrust case is awaiting a foreclosure sale date to be issued by the Orange County Clerk of Courts.
